Forest of Dean engagement Shoot | Lianne & Paul
Paul and Lianne are getting married in The Manor By The Lake early in 2015, one of my favourite wedding venues in Cheltenham. We had first met at a wedding fayre in Gloucester and Lianne got in touch again soon afterwards to arrange to see more of my work in a more relaxed setting, commenting that my work had really stood out to them at the fayre.
I met up with Lianne and Paul in the Forest of Dean, their local stomping ground with some interesting woodland sculptures. We started by visiting The Giant’s Chair, which sits on the edge of cliff with great views across the forest valley.
Later we moved to The Stained Glass Window, which is exactly what it says on the tin, yet still a surprising feature to find in a forest! The late evening light was still shining enough to light up the glasswork.
Engagement shoots are always a fun way to get to know the couple better and build their confidence in front of the camera. I’m really looking forward to Lianne & Paul’s wedding, they are both really nice and great together.
